Solaire is not that useful tbh and Paladin's is a direct upgrade to his set, think of it as Paladin's set level 1. They are not scout / zealots, they are juggernauts that bash your head in repeatedly and ignore an army's damage through steel and iron. Templar / Crusader builds fit more the sacred warrior-esque style, Paladins don't have flashy fashion coats, they need protection. You can't go wrong with this, really.Īlso, originally paladins use blunt weapons because they were "effective against undead and bones" and because "swords are too lethal for their purposes", if you're going for roleplay looks ignore ASSW for a while. The Paladin set has best curse resistance and very high defenses and looks fucking badass, best faith and strength weapon with awesome AoE attack and decent all around shield with constant healing.
